Our IT Service Operations team provides holistic support and proactive monitoring to maintain the overall health of IT applications, tools and infrastructure in complex global businesses. We are subject matter experts in hardware, data and software, security, information access, system performance and data integrity. We also work in partnership with other IT functions and departments to recommend process improvements and resolve system outages. What you’ll achieve You will: Troubleshoot low to critical technical problems in Production within acceptable service levels. Ability to prioritize operational issues/customer escalations and handle multiple issues towards solution. Monitor and react to output from tools and systems and apply this information to process improvement projects. Participate in root-cause analysis of technical incidents and develop support plan to avoid recurring incidents/production issues. Maintain deep technical/business knowledge of the domain and regularly contributes to departmental documentation/knowledge bases. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Strong debugging experience with Java/J2EE technologies, including Spring (Spring Framework and Spring Boot), Hibernate, microservice, Web Application/Web Services with JBoss & WebSphere, Restful Webservices. Able to use advanced debugging techniques including analysis of heap/thread dump files, tracing, and performance tuning and monitoring Proficiency with Unix/Linux and one or more relational databases. Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors and fluency in English. Desirable Requirements Good knowledge in monitoring systems like Catchpoint, Splunk, Zabbix, Riverbed, etc. ITIL Foundation or higher.
